The format of this project is an interactive video, so the user can be guided through learning by selecting different video clips. The videos are made with the narrator standing in front of a green screen, then superimposing the narrator on top of different images using iMovie. Interactivity is controlled with labeled buttons in Articulate Storyline. Users have the option to choose which order to view the videos and if they want to repeat any videos. This type of interactive video could show different segments or scenarios based on user choices in the learning experience.
The interactive professional timeline was built using Articulate Storyline. I used the slider function as well as clickable date labels to manipulate a variable that represented the date. This allowed me to display or hide different animated layers for each important date. For accessibility, I included the relevant information from a layer into its date label, so a screen reader would be able to read it out loud.
